Allah-Las return to Spain. After turning around the world and after the success of their last visit to our country in 2015 they return next November to present their new album “Calico Review”.
“We were all amateur before we became musicians,” says Matthew Correia, drummer of the Allah-Las. “We spent a lot of time listening to music, and we understand what works for us and what does not. Quentin Tarantino did not go to film school, just as we did not go to music school.”
Uniting peripheral elements of a changing character of their favorite music, guitarist Pedrum Siadatian, bassist Spencer Dunham and Matthew Correia created their band in a basement next to the counter of the store in 2008. They would later join the guitarist Miles Michaud. The Allah-It took them some time to find what their sound would be, to write their own songs, and finally to add their own contributions to the models from which they originally took their inspiration.
“Calico Review” bears the mark of four students becoming teachers, who share the feelings of the city they call home. Join them. There is much to learn
