Anders Trentemøller is one of the greatest talents of electronic music of recent times. A musician and producer from Copenhagen, Denmark, he achieved great popularity since his debut in 2005 and his reputation as an artist and producer grew like foam. His 2006 album The Last Resort was a refreshing wave, a new sound that, coupled with the quality of his productions, gave a twist to the minimal scene to place him as a reference artist within the broad electronic landscape.
Later, Trentemøller published his second and third work, Into The Great Wide Yonder and Lostrespectively, two more organic and eclectic, cinematographic albums and with a definite turn towards a broad sound that touched different borders (indie, ambient, etc …) , Full of distorted guitarras, obsessive synthesizers and several melodic vocal songs.
From those works was when Trentemøller stopped being a conventional artist of electronic music to incorporate new instruments like the theremin or the mandolina and to risk voluntarily to extend horizons. Also in 2007 he formed his first live band, with all kinds of instruments (guitar, drums, vocals …) and since then he has played in more than 300 shows all over the world.
